Jenifer Scott —Town Manager
Jenifer Scott is a 17 year resident of Douglas County. She is a graduate of Douglas High School and went on to attend Boise State University on an academic scholarship where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Law, Philosophy and Administration. Jenifer has worked in both the public and private sectors over the course of her career. While in college she interned at the US Attorney’s office, and earned her real estate license in 2006. Most recently Jenifer honed her management skills at China Spring Youth Camp, where she assisted with the administration of a multi-mullion dollar budget and 30 plus full time employees.
A majority of Jenifer’s extensive family count themselves among the lucky citizens who in most instances came upon Douglas County generations ago and never left. Growing up here Jenifer learned the importance of hard work, a kind smile and an honest, firm handshake. She and her fiancé Ryan will be married in the spring of 2012 in Minden Park and will have a reception in the CVIC Hall. Jenifer is thankful for the opportunity to work for and give back to the community that has given her so much.
Trish Koepnick — Senior Secretary
Trish has been with the Town of Minden since June of 1990. In her twenty years of service, she has worked in just about all aspects of the Town’s operations. She is never without a smile, and is always eager to help with questions or giggles. Soft ginger cookies are her favorite!
Amber Smith — Accounting Clerk
Amber started working for the Town in October of 2008. She has an AA in accounting and is a certified Notary—and will never turn down an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie (or any cookie for that matter!).
