Tree Branch program

January 13, 2023
Minden, NV – The Town of Minden is reaching out to assist residents with limbs and branches that have been broken during the last storm. Residents of the Town of Minden have two options of disposal thru the month of January.
1. You can bundle the limbs together with rope up to 2-feet around and 4-feet long and set them curbside on your January extra trash day and we will pick it up. The diameter of the limbs cannot exceed 8 inches. Branches larger than 8” in diameter will not be picked up. Do not place your limbs and branches in your brown yard waste containers, that service is suspended until March.
2. Residents can bring branches to the Town of Minden Buckeye Maintenance Facility at 1330 Buckeye Road, Minden, NV 89423 on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm during the month of January. Residents will be required to check in first and provide proof of residency. The Town of Minden residential boundary does NOT include the North Valley areas, i.e. Johnson or Stephanie Lanes. If you are unsure of your residency, please call our administrative offices at 775-782-5976. The diameter of the limbs cannot exceed 8 inches, anything larger than that, will not be accepted. Residents will be responsible for off-loading at their own risk.
We appreciate and thank our residents for their patience during this last week as we work through this significant weather event. For any questions regarding this assistance program please call the Town of Minden Administrative Offices at (775) 782-5976.
