Larry relocated to the Carson Valley from New York (via California) in 1991. His career in finance began in the banking industry in New York City and subsequently led to positions in corporate taxation. Prior to his relocation to Nevada, Larry was a partner in a financial & tax planning firm based in San Francisco. In his later career, Larry worked with several development firms as finance manager, where he successfully secured more than $750 million in combined equity & debt financing for various real estate development & construction projects. While residing in Douglas County, Larry has served on the Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners as well as numerous citizens’ advisory boards. Larry and his wife Judy were married while he served in the US Army, and they honeymooned at Lake Tahoe. They have been married for 55 years. Their daughter Denise and son-in-law Mike and their four children reside in Gardnerville.
