About Minden
The Town of Minden is a quiet little town in the heart of Carson Valley. It is the Douglas County Seat and provides fire and sheriff protection to its residents in conjunction with Douglas County. The Town also prides itself on providing:

Town Board
Five elected advisory Town Board members govern the Town. At regular meetings, the Board reviews annexations, projects, signs, and items associated with the operation of the Town. The Board meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Carson Valley Improvement Club (CVIC) Hall. The meeting is open to the public and you are invited and encouraged to attend. Minden's historic downtown hosts several annual events, such as craft fairs, concerts, farmers markets, and fundraisers. The CVIC Hall and Minden Park are both available to rent for private or public events. View the Rentals page for details.Additional Information
